This is a fascinating collection, mainly for the reason that Werner Jacob has gone back to the original organs on which J.S. Bach originally performed the pieces. This adds a certain extra something to the work, as the individual ambience of each piece can be enjoyed in its special context, which is rare for compositions dating back over 200 years.
